Amiee Stubbs - Voted Nashville's Best Pet Photographer in 2012

Nashville Pet Photography
Photographing your pet is something you might only do once, so I strive to capture the personality of your dog with every image. My diverse photographic education allows me to bring a unique and artistic style into my compositions. Our pets grow so fast, and the time we get to spend with them is limited. A custom pet photography session ensures memories will live on long after your loyal friend has gone.
My studio is located in downtown Nashville's historic Arcade building. I also have a mobile studio available, but I find that location sessions provide some of the best opportunities. We can combine your favorite Nashville area landmarks or your dog's favorite spots into a one-of-a-kind shoot!
After booking your shoot, I will consult with you about the types of photos you want to create. Think about the shoot with the end result in mind. Will you want framed prints, a wall collage, or a custom photo book? My pet sessions progress naturally to work with your dog’s personality. Most sessions will last between 1.5 and 2 hours depending on the location.
I provide art that compliments your goals, style, decor, and budget. I will create beautiful and contemporary photos that highlight everything you love about the furry member of your family. Please visit the investment page to see current Pet Photography pricing information.
In addition to dog photography, I also do custom photo sessions for cats, birds and pets of all kinds!

Animal Experience
I was voted Nashville's Best Pet Photographer in 2012. I am currently the Official Photographer and Photography Teacher for the Nashville Zoo and I am the Staff Photographer for Nashville Paw Magazine. In July 2012, I began working as a photojournalist for Animal Rescue Corps. Working as the assistant to wildlife photographer Christian Sperka from March 2011 - March 2012, I received extensive training in animal photography and animal behavior.
In 2011, I partnered with Nashville PITTIE for their Impression-a-Bull photography project. The goal was to bring to light the true image of middle Tennessee's Pit Bulls and their guardians through photographs. We are so proud that the Impression-a-Bull project won "Best Gallery Exhibit" in the Nashville Scene Best of Nashville 2012 awards! My husband Dan & I share our home with four energetic dogs! Halpert, our Jack Russell Terrier; Beesley, our Doxie-Pin; Eva, our German Pinscher mix; and Buster, our deaf Pit Bull. My love for them is the inspiration behind my pet photography. Adopting them didn't just improve their lives, it made our lives better, too!
